What could be easier - attending a meeting while staying at home? That's exactly how Parent Adisory Council meetings at the Fraser Valley Distance Education School are conducted - from the comfort and convenience of your home. It's not hard to do but before you connect to and use the FVDES vClass conferencing server, there are a few things you need to know.
1. Before You Begin
Before connecting to and participating in a Fraser Valley Distance Education School PAC meeting, parents must ensure that the computer they are using meets the vClass requirements. Click here to check requirements.
2. Connecting To The FVDES PAC Meeting Room
Once you have confirmed your computer set-up, launch or open a web browers (Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox all work well with this system) and enter the URL provided below.

3. FVDES Admin and PAC vClass Web Page
There is a lot of good information and technical help on this page. If this is your first time using vClass, be sure to check out the "Install vClass", "Setup vClass" and "Using vClass" pages. They will help to ensure that your first vClass visit is a smooth and successful visit.
To reach the FVDES PAC discussion area, click on the "FVDES PAC" button.
4. FVDES PAC Login Screen
Clicking on the "FVDES PAC" button will bring up the vClass Login screen
- Login Name: Your First Name Your Last Name
- Password: Fvdes (Note the capital "F")
Please be patient. It can often take several minutes to complete the connection.
5. vClass
If all has gone well, you should now be in the FVDES PAC Meeting Room.
