How to restart a PC/MAC properly

XP: Click on the START button (lower left hand on your XP screen). Click on Turn Off Computer > Restart




Vista: Click on the Vista button (lower left hand of your Vista screen). Because the shutdown button does NOT shutdown or restart your system by default but rather sends it to sleep mode, click on the tiny arrow pointing to the right (see pic below) and then on Restart.


Mac: Click on the Apple icon on the top left of your Mac's screen. Then click on Restart.
