Error: username/password incorrect. (or similar)
If this happens thare are only two possible reasons:
- You mistyped your username (your user ID number) and/or password
Username: Usually your FVDES user ID number
Password: Usually UPPERCASE letters and one or more numbers
- The server k12connect.ca is not set yet in yout client (see Server not found section > Error: Server not found)
- Your database entry on our side is invalid
To check if the error might lie on your side:
- Double check your user id and type it in slowly using number keys on the normal keyboard and not the keypad
- Double check your password. Note that the password is case-sensitive.
- Please do not use Caps-Lock to type in your password! Use the SHIFT key instead.
- Make sure you let go of SHIFT when you type in the number at the end of your password. Please use the normal keyboard for the number, not the keypad.
